An “About You” post is a great way to build trust by sharing your personality, values, or story. It helps people connect with you and makes you more memorable—turning followers into future clients.

Why it matters: Social media is often the first or second touchpoint with a potential client. Maybe they got your name from a friend or found you online. Either way, they’re checking you out—and you’ve got just a few seconds to make a strong impression.

This post acts like a digital handshake:
👋 “Here’s who I am. Here’s what I care about. And here’s why we’d work well together.”

In a crowded market, people hire people—so let them get to know you.

Estimated Time to Create: 1–2 hours

📲 Content to Gather:

  • 3–5 images

  • A mix of professional and personal photos (smiling headshots, action shots, at work, and a few candid or lifestyle photos that show your personality).

  • Add text to each slide & caption

  • Just add the pictures and write your story in the caption

✍🏽 Caption:

  • Your story – A brief summary of who you are, how you got into real estate, and what drives you.

  • Your values/mission statement – What makes you unique as an agent? What’s your approach to helping clients?

  • Favorite hobbies or interests – Something personal that shows you’re more than just a real estate agent (family time, travel, community involvement, etc.).

  • A fun fact or two – Something interesting that people might not know about you!
